Home World Home Goods strives to make your shopping experience as hassle-free as possible.
 
Please read the following explanation on how to purchase from Home World Home Goods CC:        
 
·      Browse the site and find the products you are looking for in any of the  
   different category headings:
   Browse By Brand, Boys World, Girls World, Sports World, Grown-ups World.
 
·      Click on as many products as you would like to view, check out the pictures
   attached to each product, each product’s respective price (even the ‘list price’
   which refers to the general retail price), read the description of each product
   etc.
 
·      Once you’ve found the product/s that you wish to purchase, simply click ‘Add
     to cart’ which will then place the item/s in your online ‘Shopping Cart’
    NOTE: You can increase the amount of units of the same product by
    increasing the ‘Quantity’
 
·      You will be redirected to another page that shows you, which items are  
   currently sitting, in your online ‘Shopping Cart’.
 
   NOTE: If you wish to delete an item from your online ‘Shopping Cart’ simply
   check the box next to the price and hit ‘Delete’.
 
·      If you wish to purchase more products, simply click ‘Keep Shopping’ and you
   will be redirected again to the original category page that you started on.
 
·      Once you have finished shopping (or if you are only purchasing one product)
    and you are ready to proceed and pay, click ‘Checkout’.
 
·      You will now be required to ‘Create an Account’ or simply ‘Sign in’
   depending on whether you are a new customer or a returning customer. If you
   are a new user, you will only be required to ‘Create an Account’ once. Once
   you have created this account, your account is valid and you will only need to
    ‘Sign in’ when you return for another shopping experience.  
 
    NOTE: This is a secure page that uses Thawte SSL Technology to encrypt all
   data. This can be verified by either the ‘Secure Page ShopDirect’ logo in the
   middle of the page or by the ‘https’ before the address in the address bar.
 
·      Once you have completed creating an account or signing in, you will need to
    enter both the ‘Shipping Address’ and ‘Delivery Address’.
 
    NOTE: The ‘Shipping Address’ is the address that Home World Home Goods
   CC will send your package.
   The ‘Billing Address’ is the address that Nedbank will use to verify your
   credit card and this address must match the details as held with your financial
   institution (If paying by credit card)
   The ‘Shipping Address’ and ‘Billing Address’ can differ.
 
·      Once you have completed the required address details click ‘Continue’ to
    proceed to the next step.
 
·      You will now be required to enter the ‘Shipping Method’ you wish to use. You
    have the following shipping options:
 
    Collection at our offices
    Post Office: Counter-to-Counter (Uninsured)
    Post Office: Counter-to-Counter (Insured)
    Courier Services (Uninsured)
    Courier Services (Insured)
    
     NOTE: All of the above methods of delivery are calculated on the final
    size/weight of the parcel.
    Should you require Insurance on your order, this option will be an additional
    R20.00, no matter the size of the order.
 
·      Once you have selected your ‘Shipping Method’, you will have the option to
    ‘Redeem a Gift Certificate’. If this option is applicable to you, enter the gift
    certificate code and the value of your gift certificate will be subtracted from
    your total amount due.
 
·      Now you will be required to enter the ‘Payment Method’ you wish to use.
    You have the following payment options:
 
    Payment by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) via the website.
    Payment by EFT directly into the Home World Home Goods CC     
    Nedbank Current Account.  
    Payment by Cash or Cheque directly into the Home World Home Goods CC  
    Nedbank Current Account.
    COD payment is ONLY available to if you choose the option ‘Collection at our
    offices’ at ‘Checkout’.
 
·      Once you have chosen the ‘Payment Method’ you wish to use, click
    ‘Continue’.
 
    If you chose to pay by credit card, Virtual Card Services (VCS), who are the  
    approved gateway for Nedbank of South Africa, will verify your credit card
    details.
    A receipt will be e-mailed to you confirming your order.
 
    If you chose to pay by EFT/Cheque/Cash directly into the Home World Home  
    Goods CC bank account, a receipt will be e-mailed to you containing the
    Home World Home Goods CC bank account details.
    When making an EFT or depositing a cheque/cash directly into the Home
    World Home Goods CC bank account, please use your order number as the
    reference and do not forget to e-mail/fax us the proof of payment.
 
    You may only use the COD Payment option of you selected ‘Collection at our
    offices’ as your ‘Shipping Method’.
    A receipt for your order will be mailed to you and a representative from
    Home World Home Goods CC will contact you to arrange a time for collection.
 
·      Once your payment details have been verified, you will need to ‘Review’ your
    entire order.
 
    This ‘Review’ process allows you to review all the details of your order as
    well as add in any ‘Special Instructions or Notes’ that you wish to let us
    know, change your ‘Shipping Address’ details and change your ‘Shipping
     Method’.
 
    The ‘Terms and Conditions’ of the Home World Home Goods CC site must be
    agreed to before you can ‘Place Order’.
 
 
·      Once you have reviewed your order and you are satisfied with the ‘Terms
    and Conditions’, you can now ‘Place Order’.
 
·      Once you have placed your order, a site receipt will display showing your
    ‘Order Number’ as well as all the relevant information that you entered in the
    previous steps.
 
·      In addition to your site receipt, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you via
    e-mail.
 
·      You can monitor your order status at any time by signing in to ‘Your Account’
 
·      You will also receive constant updates regarding the status of your order, via
    e-mail, right up until it’s ready for dispatching or ready for collection.

·      Once the order has been dispatched from our offices, you will receive a
    tracking number for the courier service, and will be able to track the parcel
    via the courier service’s website until it reaches its destination.
